Tom Johnson, EA, ABA

Tom is the principal owner of Eastside Tax & Accounting. He is an Enrolled Agent with the ability to represent taxpayers at all levels within the IRS. He is also an Accredited Business Accountant and has been a practicing accountant for over 35 years.
Tom earned a degree from Eastern Michigan University in Economics and Business and has taken coursework in Finance and Accounting at Lansing Community College. Tom stands ready to provide you with a full range of tax and accounting services tailored to fit your needs.
Joyce Bohne, EA
Tax & Accounting Specialist

Joyce began working at Eastside Tax & Accounting in 2010. Prior to that, she had many years of experience in Professional Tax and Accounting offices and as a Corporate Controller for Construction and Manufacturing Companies. In 2014, she passed the IRS exams, to become an Enrolled Agent. She is very knowledgeable in payroll, payroll taxes, and bookkeeping. She is proficient in QuickBooks, and has assisted many clients with set-up, and problem solving when using the program. Joyce enjoys being part of the Eastside Tax Team, and will be happy to assist you with your income tax and accounting needs.

Shelly began working at Eastside Tax & Accounting in 2016 after earning a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Central Michigan University.
Shelly completed the 3 Part Special Enrollment Examinations in August of 2018. She is now Federally Licensed as an Enrolled Agent (EA).
She is happy to assist you with your business, individual tax, and payroll needs.
Andy Lamie
Tax & Accounting Associate
Andy started in the Fall of 2019.
Prior to that, he had several years’ experience as a tax preparer in the Lansing area. He is very knowledgeable at personal and business tax returns, along with payroll taxes. Andy stands ready to serve you with the quality of service Eastside is known for.

Jessica started with our company in the fall of 2017. Jessica has over 10 years of customer service experience and a Bachelor’s Degree of Communication Arts & Sciences from Michigan State University. She is happy to serve and direct you in any way she can.
Jill Johnson, EA, MSW
Independent Tax Specialist - Part Time
Jill began working at Eastside Tax & Accounting in 2013. Since then she has become adept in tax law through diligent studies.
She attended Western Michigan University where she earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2013.
Jill completed the 3 Part Special Enrollment Examinations in August of 2018. AS of 2020 she is Federally Licensed as an Enrolled Agent (EA) and coordinates part time with our office.
